Business Mandate

SafiPay is a digital financial services platform developed by Nasteha Enterprises Limited, a Tanzanian fintech company committed to delivering secure, innovative, and Sharia-compliant financial solutions that support financial inclusion and digital transformation across Tanzania.

At SafiPay, transparency, compliance, and customer trust remain at the core of our operations. In line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, SafiPay does not directly hold customer funds or operate as a deposit-taking institution. Instead, customer funds are securely maintained by licensed and regulated financial institutions and Payment System Providers (PSPs) operating within the United Republic of Tanzania.

SafiPay operates through strategic Business Partnership Agreements with licensed financial service providers, enabling the platform to facilitate secure digital payment services and financial solutions to individuals, merchants, businesses, and communities. Through these partnerships, SafiPay provides customers with seamless access to trusted financial products while ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework established by the Bank of Tanzania.

Our mission is to empower individuals, SMEs, farmers, fishing communities, and businesses through accessible, ethical, and technology-driven financial services that improve productivity, financial accessibility, and economic growth.

We plan to extend safe, regulated digital financial services to unbanked and under-banked Tanzanians, including rural communities, women-owned enterprises, fishing and farming cooperatives, and micro-enterprises currently outside the formal financial system.
